Our Story
Watermeal Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit company dedicated to nurturing innovation, knowledge and social impact.
The name “Watermeal” comes from the world’s smallest flowering plant, Wolffia, which thrives silently on the water’s surface. Despite its tiny size, watermeal is a powerhouse of life nutrient-rich, adaptive, and capable of multiplying rapidly to cover wide expanses.
Inspired by this symbolism, Watermeal Foundation believes that even the smallest initiatives can multiply into large-scale change when nurtured with care and passion.
Just as watermeal sustains ecosystems, we aim to sustain and strengthen India’s development ecosystem through technology solutions, collaborative partnerships, and transparent access to data.
